Situated in the delightful southwest region, this
Margaret River property is built on a 2000sqm
sloping clay site in a fresh sub-division.
The brief entailed a long-term family home
that could evolve as the lifestyles and needs of the
clients and their two teenage daughters changed
over the forthcoming years.
Prevailing weather and the square shape of
this lot dictated the basic layout of zones both
internally and externally. The soil type and
gradient of the lot required careful consideration
to facilitate an economical result.
Incorporating all the parameters into a tight
budget and even tighter timeframe resulted in
the use of innovative materials that minimised
