Building on a block in a new sub-division often
means the site is suitably flat and the land is of ample
size to accommodate a family home.
This is what Mondo Exclusive found when
asked to build for this client on their 544sqm lot.
The owners wanted a high-quality family home
with a pool that maximised the north-facing
location and size of the land.
Since the clients knew exactly what they
needed, meeting the design brief was easy for
Mondo Exclusive and the construction of the
home was trouble-free, due to weekly meetings
and good communication between the builder
and the clients.
Over-sized bedrooms and multiple living
areas were created with a growing family in
mind, but it’s the high-end finishing touches
to each room that draw the eye.
Feature walls with subtle patterns, recessed
ceilings, concealed lighting, and a cleverly
balanced colour scheme connect each room,
while individual areas are still able to maintain
their own identities.
Outside, frameless fencing borders the
pool yet is barely visible from the indoor
living areas and alfresco seating, seamlessly
connecting these spaces. Constructing the
pool from brick before having it lined saved
the clients thousands of dollars.
By limiting the number of annual projects he takes on, director
Ray Kershaw is able to supervise personally the construction of
each and every Mondo Exclusive home.
