PALAZZO HOMES IS
RENOWNED FOR DESIGNING
AND BUILDING EXCLUSIVE,
WHICH ARE REALISED
FROM THE VISIONS OF
Palazzo Homes builder profile
Designed and constructed by Palazzo Homes,
this stunning contemporary home boasts
sensational views of the river and Perth’s city
skyline. It’s this breathtaking view that has
earned the home the name ‘Panorama’.
Along with the maximisation of views,
the brief also detailed an open-plan kitchen,
dining and family room, five bedrooms, three-
and-a-half bathrooms, a guest bedroom,
separate home theatre and a three-car garage.
Externally, the design had to incorporate
an entertaining area with a large swimming
pool and undercover terrace. Translucent
glazing was to be used on balconies and
boundary walls to maximise the views.
The 500sqm elevated site abuts a roadway
and has a westerly aspect, overlooking
the rooftops of established homes and the
river. In order to meet imposed height
limitations and fit with the site’s natural
gradient, Palazzo Homes came up with a
three-storey design, accommodating all
required living spaces and a garage. An
internal elevator provides easy access to
all levels. The spacious feel of the design is
enhanced by neutral marble flooring which
flows throughout the home.
Commercial window and door framing,
as well as extensive glazing, adds an air of
exclusivity. Large cavity sliding doors also help
to create the illusion of space, while helping to
control temperature and noise.
Another energy-efficient measure is the
use of balcony overhangs, which not only
provide maximum views but also protect
from the setting sun. The home’s water-wise
garden is designed from one plant species and
incorporates synthetic turf.
