The Bogart, located in Hillarys, is Broadway
Homes’ newest double-storey display home.
Aptly named for its air of distinction and nobility,
the home is loosely based on the Plantation-style
houses of America’s deep south.
The soaring, columned front porch and balcony,
exposed raking rafters to the eaves, 35-degree roof
pitch, feature gable and tall French doors effortlessly
combine to create a contemporary feel with classical
details. Meanwhile the ‘upside-down living’ design
maximises the ocean and marina views.
Upstairs, the main living area features a fully
functional kitchen with extra-long benchtops and
the latest kitchen appliances.
The dining and family area sits adjacent to the
large balcony which features stacking bi-fold
doors to increase the entertainment and living
space. For convenience, a separate powder room
is also located upstairs.
The master bedroom has a huge walk-in-robe,
plus an ensuite with ‘his and hers’ vanities and
a spa bath. A smaller room adjacent to the master
bedroom is perfect for a study or nursery.
Downstairs, there are distinct zones which
create privacy, including a spacious lounge
overlooking a central courtyard, a guest bedroom
with an ensuite and two other bedrooms separated
by a bathroom.
The well-appointed laundry is tucked away to
the side of the home, while a separate toilet and
study nook, which can be closed off for privacy,
can be found at the back of the downstairs wing.
Although it is a large home, The Bogart sits
neatly on cottage blocks as small as 369sqm with
rear lane access for a double garage.
APTLY NAMED FOR ITS AIR OF
DISTINCTION AND NOBILITY, THE
HOME IS LOOSELY BASED ON THE
PLANTATION-STYLE HOUSES OF
AMERICA’S DEEP SOUTH.
