artisan craftsman who has been designing and
creating furniture for more than 22 years.
A boutique business, Circa Furniture's size
allows it to take a personal approach to creating
each client's one-of-a-kind piece.
Malcolm's extensive knowledge of local and
imported timbers and veneers, along with many
years' experience using them in traditional and
contemporary applications, ensures the results
are beautiful and distinctive.

Working with timber his entire career, and
custom designing furniture for more than
22 of those years, Malcolm Harris of Circa

Using mostly West Australian and Australian timber
species, Malcolm believes there is a natural harmony
between our native species and the environment in
which we live. Because it is such a tactile medium, it is
immediately relatable and appealing, and with a range of
species available, the colour palette is wide.
While it may be a time of diminishing timber availability,
Circa Furniture has access to specialty timber suppliers
who seek out and put aside the best timber for designers.
Ultimate care is taken in all aspects of design -- even
site requirements are taken into consideration -- as timber
is a natural material and it responds to changes in the

to completion, Malcolm is passionate about his craft.
