The client wanted a modern family home that would
be easy to live in and maintain.
Designed and built by Glenway Homes, the home
needed to incorporate energy e cient and solar
The owner also wanted the home to have a strong
presence from the street and an equally strong entry
statement, with clean, modern lines following through
into the rest of the home.
Julie Levin Design worked on the interior design
details of the home, including the bathrooms, laundry
and kitchen, and also selected finishes, fittings and
Inside, the design of the home is very simple and
clean looking, making it both functional and modern.
The tones are neutral throughout with splashes of
colour in the children's bathrooms and soft furnishings.
The children's bathrooms are fitted with coloured
mosaics that create an individual look.
Stone bench tops were used in the kitchen and
bathrooms with white vinyl wrap doors.
The use of large co ee coloured tiles from the entry
to the living and dining area creates a seamless look
through the house.
To further create an energy e cient home, Julie Levin
Design installed curtains on all the north facing windows
which can be used to trap the heat in winter and block it
out in summer.
The interiors of this house are timeless with the use of neutral tones and bursts of colour
creating a classic style.

THE HOME has a north facing living, kitchen
and dining room that are open plan with sliding
doors that lead onto the pool and alfresco area.
