This alluring beachfront home in Dunsborough stands out from the crowd.
The clients were a Perth family who wanted Zorzi South
to build a luxury two-storey home that was a modern
and comfortable beach house.
The house needed to be user-friendly, low
maintenance, yet still incorporate the highest level of
finishes and be built to an exceptionally high standard.
The clients wanted the house to be suitable for a
lock-and-leave lifestyle and have an individual style
when compared to the other houses on the street.
The project was challenging for Zorzi South as the house
was built during the housing boom in the South-West and
the team only had 14 months to construct the house.
The house is 500 square metres, with five bedrooms
and four bathrooms on the first level with the master
bedroom boasting a stunning full-length balcony.
Extensive informal living areas, the kitchen and a cinema
occupy the ground floor that is spacious and open plan.
The kitchen and casual lounge area face the ocean
views and a large fire featured in the lounge is ideal
for the cold nights "down south" is renowned for.
Travertine Tempest Chiaro Italian marble is the
featured flooring throughout the house and impressively
runs floor-to-ceiling in the bathrooms and laundry.
Recessed remote controlled electronic blinds cover
the large doors and windows that face the ocean.
The motorised blinds make it quick and easy to block
the sun from the living areas and keep the heat out in
the warmer months.
