RCI Building Consultants & Brokers
Michael Pascoe, owner of RCI Building Consultants &
Brokers, was the client for this project with an interesting
brief; he wanted a home to suit his own lifestyle, which
could also be used to display his company's capabilities.
From a business angle, Michael required a spacious
single-storey home with a high level of fitouts to
showcase the company's extensive range of products
to prospective clients.
In terms of personal preferences, a large indoor/
outdoor living space was required for easy entertaining,
as well as resort-style luxuries like a spa in the ensuite.
The style of the home had to be modern and sharp.
The design also had to consider the narrow 12m sloping
block it was to be built on.
Michael and his team have created a stunning
contemporary single-storey home that draws attention
to a tasteful range of finishings.
It is seamlessly designed to suit the block's 1.5m fall,
with a raised living area that looks out onto the beautiful
backyard and pool area.
The home has an emphasis on spacious living areas
that appear as one with the outdoor space. This giant
indoor/outdoor entertaining set-up also brings in the
pool area through strong, sharp lines and e ective use
of glass balustrading.
The interior design by Julianne Hurst is exceptional,
and not only creates warm and relaxing spaces, but
showcases in great detail the striking range of products
and materials RCI can source for its clients.
The resort-style master bedroom and ensuite become
a talking point of the home with their luxurious spa and
fixtures. And there is a Shoji screen to the ensuite that
creates extra intrigue.
THESE GESSI BATHROOM FIXTURES
from Galvin Design Gallery create a strong
statement in the ensuite.
