This is a large combined space that is surrounded
by clever detailing and topped by co ered ceilings.
Heavy drop curtains open to a light filled glass-roofed
alfresco area which is decked out in cedar timber planks
to both the benches and ceiling. There is a magnificent
outdoor kitchen that has been built in with plenty of

are on the second level, with the fifth bedroom being
the guest suite located on the ground floor. The minor
bedrooms have access via a spiral stairway to a loft --
which could become a special retreat for the children.
To meet the car parking and swimming pool
components of the brief, the home was set well back
on the block, allowing a suitable gradient for the
underground parking. Given the house faces north,
the pool was placed beside the driveway, with the
house designed around these major components.

as a sanctuary for some peace and
