Home' Homes : Homes 2009 Contents 180 WA's Best Homes; architects, builders & designers 2009
This project had an unusual brief in that the clients
wanted a hybrid between a house and a townhouse --
They desired a unique, timeless piece of architecture
that functioned as five notably di erent residences,
but integrated seamlessly together.
The homes had to fit the character of Peppermint
Grove -- one of WA's premier suburbs -- and incorporate
touches of opulence.
The team at Euro-Form Constructions has created a
spectacular French Provincial-style complex with stunning
interiors that unify the five residences.
Each four-storey abode features the very best in home
technology, including a beautiful Otis elevator, a climate-
controlled wine cellar and bar with vaulted ceiling, and
a Clipsal C-Bus electrical system that has a colour touch
screen and interactive switches.
Lavish finishes are evident throughout, from the 23-carat
gold ceiling details to the marble and travertine stone floors.
Light and airy tones combine with ornate finishing
touches to create a lasting impression. But it's the detail in
the ceilings that really sets this project apart from the rest.
When completed, the metallic-lacquer kitchens in
each of the residences will be fully equipped with Miele
appliances and American-oak cabinetry and skirtings will
be built into the living areas.
Established landscaped gardens, which follow the French
Provincial theme, are the icing on this very desirable cake.
