The concept for this beach bungalow was born from
the desire to capture views of the ocean between the
Norfolk pines from the upper level.
The home's butterfly wings were to blend with the
curved streetscape and ensure it successfully took in

In order to maximise views of the beach parks
and Indian Ocean, this beautiful beach home was
built with the main living areas on the first floor,
a ording the owners a panoramic outlook over
the tips of the pine trees that would otherwise
hinder their view.
The living room has been placed between the
two butterfly wings, with an open plan space connecting
the dining room and lavishly designed kitchen.
The master bedroom is located on the upper
floor, facing the street to capture the City Beach
sunset. The children's bedroom catches the morning
sunrise over their rear swimming pool courtyard,
which has balcony access to the ground level.
The entry foyer is centrally located to embrace
the heavenly lights from the stairwell and welcome
guests to the overwhelming ocean views.
